Fill a Hungry Tummy During Cold Months, Warm Your Heart
Donations Needed to Help Feed Community Cats
Winter is just around the corner. And feeding our community cats good quality food can help them survive and thrive during the cold, snowy months. A community/feral cat is a cat that is un-owned, free roaming, wild, or stray and is usually wary of humans.
Throughout October, CAWS is collecting food and supplies to help provide for the needs of the community cat colonies we support. Our volunteer caregivers feed and care for hundreds of cats in managed colonies around the valley. These caregivers work hard to ensure each cat is humanely trapped, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated to stabilize and ultimately reduce the populations of these colonies.
This is a perfect opportunity to put some unwanted nibbles left uneaten by your finicky feline into the paws of needy kitties. Dry and canned food may be dropped off at the below locations. We can also pick up if within a reasonable distance or arrange for a drop off location closer to you if the below locations are not convenient. Just e-mail us at cawsdotorg@aol.com.
